This Bourjasotte Noire is growing in a 4x9 tree pot.
This is my fourth favorite tasting top tier fig so far, behind BM/Preto, I-258, andCdDB. BN is a very robust grower, and is just behind Longue d'Aout (my fastest most aggresive grower) in growth rate, and size. Starts to ripen in mid September-early October, medium to large, flattened fruits that range from dark blue, purple to black. Picture of fruit is first fruit I got from this tree, and is not quite ripe, let them wrinkle/ shrivel more and you won't be disappointed.
IMHO the most beautiful of fig fruits.
Ready for up-pot to 10 gallon fabric pouch, and gradually within a week-10 days, acclimate her to full sun. She has been growing outside in about 4 hours sun, but we have had a cloudy spring.
I will ship on Monday, and refund any shipping overage so that you pay actual costs.
Thank You!
I want to add that this tree is synonymous with Violette de Sollies. Sollies is the region in France this fig originates.
Sorry I don't ship to California, or outside the US.
