Roberts "Golden Rainbow" fig trees produce large, sweet, full of flavor, juicy golden figs. The Golden Rainbow trees are medium-sized in the ground (15' wide X 20' tall). They can be grown in containers as well.
I live in zone 8b and my tree does very well, even when left outside all winter.
This listing is for the 2 fresh (non-rooted) cuttings, approx. 8-10 inches each. These cuttings were taken from a first-generation Golden Rainbow fig tree. Nice cuttings with healthy green tips.
The Robert’s Golden Rainbow fig tree I have is 2-1/2 years old and produces nice, large, healthy, and deliciously sweet figs.
These cuttings are a little pricey but the figs the tree produces are worth it. I also have a very limited supply.
I am a new seller but very trustworthy. Here is my eBay store rating. I know I am leery myself about purchasing from “non-verified or non-reviewed” sellers. I never planned on selling cuttings, but when I tasted the figs I am growing and they were so delicious, I knew I had to share with other people. I am charging a fee so that I can continue growing my garden.
I ran across some fig-tasting videos when I first started gardening a few years ago. I had tasted a fig Newton before, but I had never tasted a fresh fig, not even a store brought fig. I went out on a limb and purchased several fig cuttings and attempted to root them. I managed to root 5 out of 8 cuttings. I was pretty happy about that. I lost one tree trying to figure out what I was doing. Now, I have four successful fig trees. Learning to grow figs is a trial and error process. However, figs are the easiest food I have grown in my garden. Figs are very low maintenance for me. I do very little and the figs produce well. I am so happy I took a chance on growing figs. Every fig tree I have produces amazing tasting figs, I couldn’t be happier.
