Fig cuttings root easily,and  how to ,instruction are plenty on the net. is a small tree,that produces ripe fruits,in ground up to zone 7,and in pot up to zone 5.
Malta black,is the most productive here in my backyard,has 2 crops,  is  self fruitful ,has ornamental leaves,and does not require spraying of any kind.

Fig trees are easy to grow and will produce fruits organically,where other fruit trees need a lot of fungicide and pesticide to do so.
 

1. A fig tree,in 10 Gal.pot,will ripe,100 delicious fruit,,every year,even in the coldest parts of USA,if kept inside in the Winter,and placed,in full Sun, outside in the Spring.
2. Out of 100+ cultivars,only about 20,produces delicious fruits,anywhere they are grown, the rest produces good ,edible fruits,in Mediterranean climates only,and barely edible,outside ideal climate.
