About the auction item:
For sale is a well-rooted Robert's Golden Rainbow (RGR) tree in a 4"x9" pot. It has been exposed to direct sunlight and also started adapting outside temperature and humidity since the week of April 22.
There have been debates about RGR being the same as Yellow Long Neck (YLN). However, I am not sure about that. Based on my experience of growing both (along with Long Yellow, Golden Riverside), RGR seems to be different. At least, mine has the distinctive "rainbow" color when fully ripe while YLN has bright yellow skin. (The last picture is of YLN.) RGR produces huge figs and is very productive. It's a classic and excellent honey fig that is worth of growing.
