Emalyn's Purple 2 gallon well rooted cutting own roots - delicious, rare fig!

Emalyn’s Purple very well rooted cutting in a 2 gallon pot on its own roots. You will receive the exact tree in the photo. According to HarveyC this was an UNK cultivar and the source who spread this cultivar liked it so much that he named it after his wife Emalyn. It produces medium to large figs that are purple on the exterior with slight yellow at the stem and has a red berry interior that when it’s left to ripen completely on the tree has an amazing taste profile. The source of the parent tree is a well known and highly rated Figbid seller.

According to the original source of Emalyn's Purple, "EP is a seedling of Negronne. EP may be the best tasting fig I have ever eaten. If not, it’s certainly in the top 3.  extremely vigorous.  The fruit is slightly larger than average size. It is a globular fruit. It has purple skin and red flesh. What makes the fruit special is the flavor. When fully ripe, the fruit has an extremely rich and complex flavor, similar to, but better than, its parent. That would be good enough, but when the fruit is not quite ripe, it has an amazing sweet-tart flavor that is unusual but wonderful."

EP is known to produce occasional brebas. It is a common fig. I assume all my trees have been exposed to FMV, even the ones that don’t exhibit any signs.
