Aignan - Grafted onto (Montanha Verde) New cultivar from Thierry- France

This listing is for a healthy and fast growing Aignan, grafted onto Montanha Verde in a 1 gallon pot. This cultivar has been introduced by Thierry from Fig du Monde and it’s very rare in the USA. This cultivar produces large orange-yellow fruit that turns reddish when ripe and the skin is thin and soft.  It has  a nice red berry interior  that Thierry describes as Dark red and very Sweet and Fragrant. This is an extremely vigorous cultivar that has fruit at every node. I obtained my tree late in the year and was not able to ripen any fruit in time but fruit and leaf matches Thierry’s so it’s  true to type or 100% money back. Mother tree is pushing out many Brebas at the moment which I can’t wait to ripen.  Would make an excellent addition to any rare fig collection!! 

I suspect all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, even the ones that show no signs. If this is a concern please do not bid. Please check local weather to make sure it’s not below freezing during the bay before you purchase. 
 

Plant has been growing in my patio under shade cloth so acclimation to sun needed. Also if you live in an area with frost please protect from extreme weather. 

I will usually ship on Monday’s to avoid post office delays over the weekend. Please be aware that’s the post office is a bit slower than usual. Item will be shipped priority but there have been instances when it has taken longer than a week to arrive, however that’s rare. 

All my trees have come from very reputable sources from the fig community and if there is ever a problem with the item please make me aware and I will do my best to make it right.
