Ronde De Bordeaux LIVE TREE

Hi. My name is Danny and I have fell in love with the hobby of growing and collecting figs about 6 years ago and even before that as a little boy picking figs off of my Papa's tree in Bayside Queens New York. I now live in Staten Island Zone B growing many different varieties that I want to share with you!

Up for sale is a RDB rooted cutting off my in-Ground tree. This tree is a very rapid grower in my zone 7B. It is extremely vigorous and grows fast! In ground it can easily put on 8-10 feet every growing season.  It is easily my healthiest and most vigorous tree to date. This season it grew over 10 feet tall! The figs are sweet and has a great berry flavor profile. Some people say it tastes like sweet Raspberries, I taste a combo of raspberries, strawberry, and concord grape along with that traditional figgy flavor. No tartness. I love this fig!  It’s a must have for anyone living in my or around my zone 7B.

All of my trees are professionally cleaned by being soaked in 1 part bleach to 10 parts water for 5 Minutes and stored in the fridge for 48 hours before rooting. They are all rooted in pro-mix Mycorrhizae all-purpose potting soil and are then fertilized weekly after trees are rooted and established. They are rooted under 12 hours a day of Led lights on top of heat mats. The tree you are bidding on has been shown the utmost love and care from the moment that it started its life to moment it reaches your hands!
