The Bourjassotte Grise fig is a delicious berry fig!  .  Many people have compared the Bourjassotte Grise similar to Socorro Black or Violet Sepor.  The fig has a moderate strawberry flavor with notes of plum.  The cultivar is an early and vigorous grower producing a breba and main crop. Bourjassotte Grise is an old European cultivar which produces rounded greenish/chocolate brown fruit stippled with maroon. The interior pulp is a deep dark blood-red and when fully ripe produces thick syrup like juice.
