FAJA DE OVELHA  36” TALL

Up for auction is a Faja de Ovelha fig tree in a 4x9 nursery pot & 36" tall.  Faja de Ovelha is a Portuguese fig from the Island of Madeira & is named for the Parish in which it is found. It produces small to medium figs with good split resistance.  This variety ripened for us in late August, early September (Northeast 7A). Faja de Ovelha & Crozes were stand outs for us last season. It produces figs with a purple exterior & a red interior that tastes of sweet berry with thick syrupy pulp. It truly is a great addition to any collection. This is a common fig not requiring pollination.

I assume that all my trees may have been exposed to FMV at some point, if this is a concern please do not bid.

I usually ship on Mondays or Tuesdays but if you prefer a different day, please let me know as soon as possible after the auction has ended. Buyers please be aware of your local weather, if you prefer to delay shipping due to weather, please contact me and we can make arrangements. Local pickup is available.

After delivery the buyer is responsible for the care of the fig tree.  All trees have been grown indoors with indirect sunlight & grow lights, please introduce your tree to full sun gradually. Please give time for tree to acclimate to its new surroundings.
