Verte – Well-Rooted in Tree Pot

You are bidding on a well-rooted cutting of Verte that is growing vigorously in a 9" x 4" tree pot. This was started in December. 

Verte is a common type of fig and does not need pollination by wasps.

Verte is an excellent fig variety for cooler climates and ripens a main crop in the ground in late fall in Zone 6B. In containers, the main crop ripens in early fall. It can die back to the ground and still produce fruit the same year.

Verte is an Adriatic fig with excellent cold resistance. In my 6B location, it performs very well and is a highly vigorous grower. The figs are large with a deep jammy strawberry/raspberry flavor. One of my favorite varieties. Does well in a container. 

It will be packed securely and shipped with up to $100 insurance included.

I will be using UPS as the delivery service for your order and will send you a tracking number once your package has been shipped.
