You will receive a stick with at least 5 easy to use buds with mature wood beneath all 5-buds . Scions came to me from the USDA as a synonym under the name of 'Clara Frijs', (''Comtesse Clara Frijs'') .. My sticks I got from: https://npgsweb.ars-grin.gov/gringlobal/accessiondetail?id=1223413
I'm a vetted grafter that when I prepare my scions for you or myself for that matter, there is never a single bud that has wood below it that the wood is immature. The wood is always dense and will successfully push the bud . That's for your kind support. Dax
