DTV black currant cuttings - 5 dormant unrooted cuttings

You are buying 5 dormant, unrooted cuttings of 'DTV' black currant.

This black currant is the first variety I got in the early 90s and was mislabeled by the nursery.  Therefore I have given it the name DTV (Dreamtime Village) to represent where it is growing.  Probably the most productive and vigorous of the 15 kinds of black currants I am growing and behind Titania, is my 2nd favorite black currant.  Bushes tend to want to fall over because they bear profusely so I keep them pruned to upright branches.

There are many uses for black currants including:  

•jam
•jelly
•juice
•wine and mead
•syrup
•dried

Whole berries also keep well in the freezer.
 

I’ve been growing and trialing figs in southwestern Wisconsin for 30 years. My focus was on container figs which will ripen in Wisconsin without a greenhouse, but now that I have an unheated hoophouse & I’ve been putting many varieties in the ground.
