Chicago Hardy – 2 Cuttings

You are buying two (2) cuttings, 7–10 inches long, with at least 3 nodes, with good thickness. You will receive cuttings that are similar to the images shown here. These are cuttings from my in-ground mother tree, zone 6B. 

Chicago Hardy is a common type of fig and does not need pollination by wasps.

Chicago Hardy is THE go-to fig variety for cooler climates. It can suffer full winter dieback and still produce fruit on new wood the next summer. 

Chicago Hardy is a Mount Etna-type fig with excellent cold resistance. In my 6B location, it performs very well and is a vigorous grower. Figs are average size with a fruity berry flavor, with a slight acidity that gives it a bright punch. 

I will be using USPS Ground Advantage and will send you a tracking number once your package has been shipped.

All cutting sales are final. Due to the delicate nature of plant cuttings and their vulnerability to environmental conditions, I cannot guarantee the success of all cuttings. I do my best to ensure all cuttings are high quality with a high probability of success when they are shipped out. All cuttings are cleaned and sanitized with Physan 20. The cuttings shipped will be representative of the ones pictured.
