Description

We are downsizing and moving our farm and plant nursery from Missouri to Texas.  We must reduce our inventory to prepare for the move and are offering many of our trees for $9.99 plus shipping.  These trees are approximately 8 to 10 inches tall with a trunk about as thick as chopstick or thick bamboo skewer.  They are growing in a 3x8 inch tree pot.

Norland:  Norland is said to be very similar if not the same as Long d’Aout.  My tree ripened it’s fruit at the end of August in zone 6 (third picture).  This is an excellent variety for shorter growing seasons.  Additionally, we are absolutely in love with Norland’s unique leaf pattern.

These trees were propagated as tissue culture starts we received earlier this summer.  To promote good growth and reduce suckering, we train our trees to a single trunk and fertilize with a balanced fertilizer throughout the growing season.  This is our first year growing this variety from tissue culture and I am finding the growth is not as vigorous as some other varieties we grow from tissue culture, such as Yellow Long Neck or Green Ischia.  I recommend keeping these trees in a pot to overwinter and possibly through next season.  A good balanced fertilizer during the growing season will help this variety put on quicker growth.

Please note:  We only ship on Mondays to ensure plants arrive that same week.  Orders received before dinnertime on Sunday will ship on Monday.

Unfortunately, we are not licensed to ship potted plants outside the continental US or to California.
