The quality of Preto fruit is widely recognized as among very best. It is precocious, very productive, and delicious. It may be the same as Black Madeira. For me Preto has matured more fruits than Black Madeira with the same quality. But any differences could just be individual plant differences. Preto is usually a cheaper way to buy Black Madeira.
Please don't purchase my plants if you are concerned about FMV. They are probably all infected even the ones not showing symptoms. I do spray regularly with a number of recommended miticides and my plants do generally grow and fruit well.
Auctions ending Thursday or other weekdays will ship Saturday unless you advise differently. Saturday shipments usually arrive Monday or Tuesday. Packages keep moving on weekends. Auctions ending Saturday or Sunday will ship on Monday unless you advise differently.
