(TP-FG-0002) UCD-Mini x2

The mother tree was discovered near Davis in Summer 2017. The tree produces few breba figs that are of small size and superior quality. The tree also produces moderate main crop figs with small size, superior quality, ripen late September, and dry well on the tree. At this time, it is not known if this fig variety is common or not. I have tasted the breba of more than 35 varieties in 2019; the breba fig of the UCD MiniFig is in the top three for me so far.

(TP-FG-0003) Power-Line-Rd x5

The mother tree is an unknown fig tree located in Sacramento near a conservation at the bank of the Sacramento River. This one-crop fig tree is consistently super productive. The figs are very sweet and of superior quality. They dry very well on the tree and they are the best for making fig jam or for making dried figs using a dehydrator. The inside of the fig is reddish dark similar to most black figs.

(TP-FG-0004) Yolo-Bypass

The mother tree was discovered near Sacramento in Summer 2017. The tree grows in the wild in an isolated area with no other fig trees nearby. At this time, it is not known if this fig variety is common or not. The figs from the tree are of superior quality that tastes like sweet intense berry jam. It also stores well in the refrigerator (more than 10 days). I did not notice any breba figs on the tree and the main crop is produced in August and September.
