Description
This variety produces smaller sized figs lacking pigment with a discolored appearance.  This fig has a great taste and is of high quality -- excellent to be preserved. The tree is very old and in very bad condition like many of the trees that can be found in old agricultural areas that have become residential. Varieties like Pichoto seem to disappear regularly to build houses. It is even more unfortunate because the Pichoto figs naturally dry on the tree. The dry figs of Bandol were famous: it rains very rarely in August at the time of drying.
