GM #25. Dark Maltese Fig. 2 cuttings.

I've been growing this variety for about 8 years now. However, I've yet to get a ripe fruit from this tree. It produced one small fig a couple years back but it never ripened and dropped from the tree while still small. From the information that was shared with me, this is reported to be a common type fig. But it is still unproven in my yard.

I have always grown this one in-ground here in zone 6 and this may be a factor in why it's not produced for me yet. It may well do better under your care.
