Raspberry Latte Fig - 2 Fig Cuttings

For sale are two (2) cuttings from my Raspberry Latte fig tree.  The cuttings you will receive will be approximately 6-10 inches in length and will have no less than 3 nodes.  The cuttings will come from my mother tree shown in the photos.  I will cut them fresh prior to shipping.

Raspberry Latte is a unique fig.  It is a medium-sized fig with deep purple skin and a red/burgundy interior.  Raspberry Latte has a reputation for taking a couple seasons to really get going, and I found that to be somewhat true.  My first year fig tree set a good amount of fruit after I pinched the tips off the branches, but the tree had trouble holding onto most of the figs its first season.  I expect better fruit set, fruit hold and ripening the second season, and my initial impressions of this tree is that it's a variety worth waiting for.

The interior texture of the figs were moderately jammy with moderate sweetness, moderate berry flavor and intensity, and a nice seed crunch.  It held up well to the heat and humidity of my climate on the southeastern North Carolina coast, and I think this is a good fig to trial for those of us that have rainy, humid summers.  The figs were resistant to splitting and spoiling and didn't seem to attract ants in my native area.
