Grafted Apple Tree Smokehouse

This is a grafted Smokehouse apple tree on Domestica Seedling rootstock.  This apple is an all purpose heirloom from Pennsylvania that originated about 1800 and is well known for cooking even if it still good fresh! This type of rootstock is known as a standard seedling, meaning that it gets to be a larger, but generally healthier, tree.  In zones 4-6 I would give 25-30', this apple does not do well in very warm locations and is recommended for 4-6.  Due to the size of the tree I cannot combine shipping on orders with multiple purchases, I will however issue a refund if shipping comes up less.  I recommend spring planting.  You will receive the tree in the picture.
