Malta Purple Red fig tree (last one)

Offered is a tree started by rooting a cutting from one of our mother trees over a year ago.  This has been a slow growing variety most of the time and this tree is now growing very well and ready for planting in a larger pot or in the ground.

This variety was originally introduced as GM-1 by the same collector that brought Maltese Beauty and Maltese Falcon and all of the others in the "GM series".  This variety has not been talked about much in recent years but is a great fig, in my opinion.

The tree will be shipped in the 4" x 9" pot and carefully packed for safe shipment.  The photo of the tree is the actual tree being sold and the fruit shown are from our mother trees.
