Three Popone Cuttings

Auction is for the 3 cuttings in the picture, which were taken today.

Popone is a rare striped, or variegated, fig originating on Elba island in Tuscany. This plant produces beautiful yellow and green striped fruits with red to amber interiors. The original source is Belfiore Nursery in France.

My cuttings came from WillsC.

My first year plant produced two figs, both on the same branch with one striped and one not, see the picture. The variety is striped, but apparently not all figs are. All the young wood was striped on my plant.
