For auction in a one gallon pot QUDSSAYA a unique SYRIAN VARIETY.Another young plant I didn’t really know I had.Just sitting in a tray and getting water. As the herd is thinning out I’m finding some gold out back.I just looked at the tag today 9/16/19 and saw I had one more.I got to pick the first fig on 8/19/19.I must say it could have stayed on the tree another day or two.I couldn’t help but to sample it.Its a spectacular sweet very syrupy fig.The fig looked super yellow out in the bright sunshine as you can see. When taken inside it was more green as you see it on the plate.Im not sure why this is.I don’t think I ever saw that before.Always something unique happening in this MEDITERRANEAN SPORT.I made no mistake investing in this beauty. It can only get better with age.I obtained my plant which were cuttings from dalexander7000.I believe his name is Dave. He lives in Seattle,WA.He obtained this unique variety from MARIUS.Dave says his family and friends along with himself.Prefer this Syrian variety over many of the top figs.Such as Black Madeira,Smith and some Col de Dame varieties. Now that is saying something about this Syrian variety.I will need for this variety to mature more to make that comparison.Super interesting and delicious for sure. This is my first fig ever of this Syrian variety. You can see the nice amount of figs on my young mother tree. The plant for auction is nicely rooted. This is a very healthy plant and will take off when up potted next season.it should thrive into productivity next season. It seems to be an excellent variety for potted culture. The plant for auction is the bottom three photos. The damaged leafs are from slugs .This is a must have variety for any collection.I assume all figs have or have been exposed to FMV.The plant you see is the plant you will receive. It will ship priority mail 1-3 days delivery.
