LB#1 Unknown Fig - Rooted Cutting

Disclaimer: Cuttings are grown in solo cups. If potted into larger containers, I will always update photos, so buyers know exactly what they will receive. In this case, cutting is growing in a Starbucks grande sized cup.

You are bidding for the Long Beach#1 Unknown Fig Rooted Cutting in the pictures. I started several cuttings late August 2019, and they have been growing very fast. It is a common variety.

It is currently growing in direct sunlight, under a shade cloth. I would suggest slowly introducing it to full sunlight. It has started growing a root system, but I would suggest leaving it in its container until it can be safely potted into a larger container. It does not have a strong enough root system, to safely remove it from it's current container.

Taste: The figs from this UNK. Variety turn a Purplish color, and range from Medium to Large in size. When fully ripe the flesh is very soft and very sweet! Even when not fully ripe, it's still really sweet. It starts out a reddish color inside, and turns into a light to amber color, when it's fully ripe.The edges of the inside, turn an amber color, with a jammy red center. It has a light seed crunch. I've had a PEAK RIPENED fig from this UNK. tree, and it was incredibly sweet! I was speechless with how sweet it was! It was literally like a spoonful of honey in my mouth! I'm very impressed with this variety! It gets really jammy inside!

I assume all my fig trees have been exposed to FMV. I spray all my trees with a neem oil spray to prevent fungus, and control insects. With proper care, and adequate fertilization, FMV shouldn't have much effect on growth or fruit production.
