Smith Fig Air Layer

Smith is a beloved heirloom fig from Louisiana (with heritage that presumably extends back to Croatia). It is noted for its tremendous performance in hot, humid conditions and is considered by many to be among the premier class of figs due to its incredible flavor. It has a light exterior with a red pulp.

First three photos are of the actual plant you are bidding on.

This air layer was started in June 2019. It will not come in the pot shown, but will be shipped in the plastic grow bag liner that's in the pot. Grow the tree in the shade for a bit before placing in direct sun or transplanting. The mother tree was purchased from WillsC. I have fruited it and can confirm that it is the right variety. 

I assume all my trees have been exposed to FMV.
