Description

Up for auction is a Col de Dame Cuitat airlayer that has taken off! It is in a tree pot at the moment and stands well over 2 feet tall with figs already developing. I will do my best to fit this tree inside a medium sized tube box, but I may need to trim the top a bit if it doesn’t fit.

My mother tree (picture included) is currently LOADED with figs that began developing as soon as I put it outside. This tree only has a 2 week headstart in my basement under lights so I am very impressed. I did get one late fig last season that developed in November that was amazing for a fig ripened in cold weather. Unfortunately I do not have a picture of the inside, however Ive included a picture of one on the tree during the ripening process. I do find the Col de Dame family in general tend to have this trait of ripening well even in less than ideal temps. If you are a Col de Dame family fan as I definitely am, this variety is a must have!

I assume all of my fig trees have been exposed to FMV, however this baby shows zero signs of it at this time. I am of the opinion that most fig trees, even if exposed to the virus, will do just fine when provided with the proper nutrients/fertilizer throughout the growing season.

I am Jamie0507 on ourfigs.com. Feel free to message me any time with questions, I love to chat up all things fig!

Intercontinental US shipping only please. PR and Cali are okay but will be at buyers risk.

Shipping is listed at $22 however I will gladly reimburse you the difference via PayPal if it ends up costing less to ship to your address. I usually ship the Tuesday following the end of the auction but can be flexible for extreme weather, or if that date doesn’t work for you.

Thanks for stopping by my fellow fig fanatics!
