If you haven't seen my listings yet, I am new to the forum (fruitnut's daughter). He's teaching me the ways of growing figs. I have his permission to use his photos and info.
PLEASE READ: I am selling the tree in the first 3 photos. I have sprayed my trees with organic sulfur so that’s the whitish spots you are seeing on them. My trees have all been grown indoors under grow lights, so they will need to be slowly acclimated to full sun. We are entering the summer which means some lower leaves will need to trimmed off the bottom of the plant in order to try to keep it from wilting during shipping.*****
My dad's notes on Cessac: "Cessac is a common fig meaning it doesn't need the wasp in order to fruit. The fruit is very sweet and juicy. The plant is vigorous and healthy. With regards to fruit quality, size, and maturity I think this fig most closely resembles the variety Smith. The fruit pictured from 1-7-21 and 7-31-21 was all grown on the same plant. That plant went dormant after producing the winter crop, dropped all it's leaves, and still produced another crop in less than seven months."
