CLBC is a rare and in demand fig. It has dark black skin with a round cavity full of deep red fruit. CLBC is dense and sweet with lots of syrup. Those who have sampled this variety say it has cherry like flavors and an acidic taste. The plant has distinctly large leaves that usually bear 5 lobes. It is a mid-season bloomer, , it is very resistant to splitting in humidity!
