Dwarf Everbearing Mulberry

(Morus nigra) Morus nigra is a medium size black mulberry with a sweet, tasty flavor. In pot culture it can be maintained as a dwarf with minor pruning. This ever-bearing mulberry will produce continuously in pots under warm and bright conditions. Mulberries have many health benefits: they strengthen the immune system and are good for eyesight.Please consider these terms before ordering live plants: Most plants will be 3”-7” in height. All plants will ship prompt weekly as available from the first of March to the end of May. Please make sure you are ready for your order in your zone as these young, tender plants generally have no resistance to cold. 

Plant Care Instructions: 

Zones 5-10. Can be kept truly dwarf by planting in pots and pruning regularly, if planted in ground, plants will grow to become a tall bush. Although tough and very easy to grow, it is important to keep young plants well watered until established. Not fussy about soil quality or pH, and do not need fertilizer; prefer full sun. Either plant in the ground as soon as last frost has passed or transplant into a 5 gallon pot.
