Description

This listing is for a beautiful, well rooted and robust Cavalière rooted cutting in a 3x8 tree pot.  This young plant is very healthy and growing vigorously. Cavalière is a sweet and jammy fig with nice cherry and berry flavors along with a citrus tang. It is a medium sized fig that is greenish with purple stripes outside and deep red inside. In Italy, Cavalière is highly regarded and considered among the best if not the best dark fig. It’s definitely a top 10 in my personal opinion and my climate here in Florida. Excellent fig to add to any collection.

The tree has been growing in my patio with daily sunlight and should be ready to up pot upon arrival. Please protect from the extreme cold if you live in an area with frost.

There is no sign of FMV although I suspect all my trees may have been exposed at some point. Please acclimate the plant after receiving for a couple of days as it has been growing indoors.

I will usually ship on Monday’s to avoid post office delays over the weekend. Please be aware that the post office is a lot slower than usual due to Covid 19 and lack of staff. Item will be shipped USPS priority or UPS 3Day select but there have been instances when it has taken longer than a week to arrive, however that’s rare.

All my cuttings have come from very reputable sources from the fig community and this one came from HarveyC at figaholics but If there is ever a problem with the item please make me aware upon arrival and I will do my best to make it right. Please take pictures of packaging and plant if it arrives damaged.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!!
