Description

Privet Hedge Live Plant (Ligustrum) ~ Privacy Screen ~ Beautiful white flowers

Size: One Gallon Nursery Pot size – This is for a live plant grown from seed - NOT A CUTTING

Cultivar: Ligustrum likely Japanese / California Privet Cross – Grown from seed

Info: These beautiful evergreen perennial hedge plants are drought-hardy, gopher resistant, and bee, bird and butterfly friendly.  They grow as a compact hedge when regularly pruned or can be grown as a tree.  Privets grow rapidly to heights of 15-20 feet when mature but can easily be trimmed short to keep as a hedge as seen in the photos. Do you see the cell phone tower in the pictures? Nope, that’s because the privets have formed an exceptional privacy screen!

Special Note:  These plants are incredibly hardy. The photos showing them in a white bag was a test when we left them out several months in the shade with completely dry roots and they will come back when watered and planted.  We have put them to the test and they seem to almost always survive.  If you looking for a hedge plant that will tolerate it all, this is the one!

Benefits:

Bee Friendly

Butterfly Friendly

Privacy screen

Drought Hardy

Gopher resistant – we mean it! Our gophers eat everything, even daffodils which are supposed to repel gophers but they don’t bother our privet plants.
