Up for sale are 'A' stock cuttings Burgan Unknown also know as Burgan UNK. 'A' stock cuttings are our premium cutting that are at least as thick as a sharpie and have a minimum of 4 nodes (but most have quite a few more than that as show in the pictures). The cuttings were taken from our personal tree farm in Central California on 2/19/2022. We use a Japanese ryoba saw to get nice, clean cuts with disinfection of the saw between trees. Each cutting is individually wrapped in plastic wrap and placed in the fridge awaiting shipment.

Burgan Unknown was originally discovered by Brian M. Our cutting was sources from him directly. He describes the flavor as: “It is not sweet berry flavor but a blend of melon, caramel sugar and fig.”

Shipping is $8 and we will combine shipping with other cuttings purchased. All cuttings will be shipped from Central California in bubble wrappers. We ship on Tuesdays and Thursdays. No international shipping. No shipping to AK HI PR. Sorry!

Our Story: My fig journey started in Seattle when I had the opportunity to attend a fig tasting at Ben B’s private orchard. I had my first properly ripe fig and I was bitten by the fig bug. I began collecting cuttings from respected members of the fig community. When I relocated to California, my container fig garden outgrew my space. My parents and I decided to use some land on their farm in Central California to plant our favorite varieties in the ground. It is now tended by three generations of our family- my dad, myself, and my kids (7 and 5 who like to help).
