Fig Tree “Mattepinta” Italian favorite!

  Mattepinta comes from Paolo at Pomona Gardens. The mother tree is huge and this is a local favorite. The colors are amazing and it is juicy and sweet. It’s a common fig and super rare to find the real one. This variety traces back to the early 1900’s. One to add to the collection. These fruit pics are not mine but used with permission. I have had a few figs from my tree and they are like the photo but pollinated. You get the tree in the photo. Well rooted and growing quickly.
