Italian 258, I-258

I-258 growing in a 4x9 tree pot.  This fig is awesome! 

Not only is the taste of these med-large fruits very similar to the best of the best, Preto and Black Madeira, but the fruits of I-258 ARE genuinely earlier.  A better choice for those with shorter growing seasons than BM or Preto.

Precocious, and a little faster growing than BM.  I would re-pot soon to 10 gallon root pouch/ fabric pot, and she has been outside in about 4-5 hours  sun, but we have had a cloudy spring, so I would slowly introduce more sun over a week to 10 days.
