Bourjasotte Grise - 2x Fig Cuttings

Highly regarded Old European heirloom. Believed to have originated from Valencia region in Spain before cultivation at French conservatories. Very productive with medium to large size fruits of excellent quality. Pale green exterior and purple/red interior. Pulp described as having "Jelly-like" texture with thick syrupy juice. Mid-season variety capable of breba crop. Performs well in cooler climates. Common and does not require the fig wasp. Flavor profile - rich, sweet, moderate berry, strawberry.

Sourced mother tree from Fruitnut (who sourced his from the Figaholics/Harvey Collection) in 6/2020. Cuttings taken on 1/8/2022 from my in-ground tree. Cuttings photographed are the actual ones to be sent.
