SAL'S (EL) fig Tree

Fig tree is still dormant. Will send bare rooted. Well rooted, about 9” high.

Purple with red flesh, Mt Etna style fig. Very hardy and the clone I have is quite vigorous.  Great figs for drying.  Doing well in the ground in an unheated hoophouse in z4b Wisconsin.

I’ve been growing and trialing figs in southwestern Wisconsin for 30 years. My focus was on container figs which will ripen in Wisconsin without a greenhouse, but now that I have an unheated hoophouse & I’ve been putting many varieties in the ground.

I am sacredgroveorganics on eBay and run a Facebook group called NORTHERN FIG GROWERS which has several thousand members.  I also sell cuttings of currants, grapes, elderberries, willows, kiwis and scionwood of pears and mulberries.
