Abebereira is a hearty, large sized fig that can weigh over 100 grams at its peak.  It originates from Madeira Island in Portugal and also known as Bebereira and Bebera Preta.  My source was Sue V., whom obtained the original cuttings from the mother tree in Point Loma, CA.  I've been growing this variety in pots in zone 7 for nearly 10 years.  It bears two crops each year in optimal conditions.  This is a common fig and does not require pollination.  Guaranteed to be authentic to its name.

Cuttings will be vacuum sealed to ensure freshness.  No other moisture has been added, as this will promote rot.  I have been storing and rooting fig cuttings for several years in this manner and this proves to work best for me.
