Grafted Smith on Brown Turkey (JFE version)

The mother tree was sourced from Just Fruits and Exotics Nursery, grafted version, rootstock is unknown in 2017. The mother tree grew well, but is always late for me since Chicago tends to be extremely cloudy and rainy in September. I've only manage to take about a dozen or so off every year, but I agree it is worth the hype.

I grafted this cutting on a BT rootstock (April 2018), and because I angled the cutting a bit sideways it is growing at an angle, which could easily be adjusted when replanted. Should be repotted as soon as possible.

As I grow over dozens of tropical fruits and citrus in 3-15 gallon pots, I only up pot when necessary since it takes me a good 8-10 hrs to wrap, prune, and prep so many trees into my grow room and storage. This Smith should do extremely well in a a 5-7 gallon this summer.

I am a longtime member of eBay under handle of Chicago-garden17 and have shipped dozens of trees in the last few years. I grow over dozens of different fruit trees and only started my fig collection in 2017, but I've made sure do research sellers before adding them to mine. I guarantee each tree I sell to be true to name before I offer to sell them.

Tree will be semi bare-rooted and shipped priority mail. I ship Saturday, Monday, and Tuesday only, pending no weather extremities. I will monitor weather before shipping out.
