An exceptionally rare variety “Nero del Cisternino “

  I am greatful to be able to offer this variety. Found  by Dr Paolo Belloni in the area, puglia. It is a San Pedro FIG' of the ancient relic that  he named in conjunction with the name of the district Nero Del Cisternino.  It is very productive in the production of fruit, very sweet and can dry above the tree and has a velvet skin. The taste is amazingly sweet with some berry tones and acid. You get the tree in the photo. This is not my photo but used with permission. My tree has fruited and is true to type just no picture. I assume all fig trees have FMV.
