Cap Terra Hava - Rich & Exceptionally Sweet fig variety from Palestine

CAP TERRA HAVA is a wonderful fig cultivar that came from Palestine/Israel.  It produces medium-size fruit that starts yellow but turns yellowish-brown as it matures.

The color of pulp is deep red and it has an exceptionally sweet flavor like raisins with a crunchy texture. This variety also does great when allowed to dry naturally on the plant at which stage the color of the fruit darkens with intense sweetness.  A picture of fruit drying on the tree is featured on the listing.

It is a common type of fig and thus, does not need wasps to pollinate. 

For this bid, the Cap Terra Hava offered is in a 1-gallon container and is 15" tall. It was grown as a rooted cutting. The plant shows no signs of FMV, but it is possible that it has been exposed to it as no pathogenic tests have been conducted on the variety. 

Origin: Palestine

Once received, the plant should be kept in a morning sun-only location for 2 weeks and then brought out into brighter light for another week. After that, full sun is best.
