"Flowering quince" (Chaenomeles); not to be confused with true "quince" (Cydonia) are very good natural hummingbird feeders when in bloom.

This plant was grown outdoors un USDA climate zone 8a.  In this climate flowering quince are semi-evergreen.  Therefore when you receive your flowering quince you should expect it to have only partial leaf dieback/loss with a portion of the leaves remaining green and well attached.
