VERY FRUITFUL UNKNOWN fig tree cold/heat hardy

This tree is produced from our Mother "Unknown" Yellow fig tree.  She is massive and beautiful. Luke, my son helps me with the trees and figs and gets a portion of the profits :)  The figs are very sweet and a bit like honey. They are WONDERFUL and people have driven very far to come buy our figs :)  They make amazing jam too! 

We live in Texas where it is very hot and can be very cold. I have never covered the Mother tree and she thrives.  I do think that possibly the roots are hitting an underground spring of some sort because I NEVER water it.
