2 Raspberry Plant Assortment - FRUITING SIZE

This listing is for 2 mix and match raspberry plants of either Heritage, Caroline or Double Gold.

These are strong bare rooted raspberry canes that will fruit their first year. I recommend chopping the tops back even further to limit your spring crop. That will help them grow and send up new vigorous healthy canes that'll fruit this fall. Plant ASAP and fill the plastic bag they come in with water in the meantime. Keep in a cool place. Plant in full sun, remove the sod and add plenty of mulch.

Heritage & Caroline are some of the most reliable and productive red raspberries in my location. Nothing bothers these plants here other than the birds and I get at least a pint of raspberries every day (from August 1st to Nov 1st) from ONE plant. The spring crop is on the light side, but that's when the birds are out anyway. Both varieties also far and away beats store quality. There is absolutely no reason why you should be buying store bought raspberries. Double Gold is another strong variety that deserves some attention. It's pink and has a very different flavor than red raspberries. Less intense, but sweeter. Very good.
