TFH-0697- Igo Berry Tart was found across in a culvert ditch on the uphill slope by The Fig Hunter  .

It survived the Zog fire last year and the McFarland fire this year but a significant amount of branches actually burst from the heat.

***********It has a breba crop that ripens and when we double bagged immature figs this spring they fully ripened this summer .***********
This as close as we can be to confirmation of self pollination while in California .

Thank you for your support it takes a lot of time and energy traveling many miles to document and research these figs .

This amazing fig  is green and red ribbed skin almost like faint stripes.  The skin in thin, but has a nice resistance when biting in to it.  The interior is super juicy with jam like texture, very little seed crunch  the flavor is similar to a berry tart pastry.  This is definitely a fig we are growing for ourselves .

Each purchase will come with 2 cuttings of 6” or longer, and at least three nodes. This was a 2019 find, and for the sake of transparency, we cannot yet confirm if it is common. Cuttings have been set out of the area for growing and confirmation.
