Robert's golden rainbow

Highly prized and sought after variety. It’s flavor is a complex blend of strawberry and kiwi. This prolific growing fig produces large sized fruit which start ripening in September. The fruit starts out bright green, turns a golden yellow . It’s pulp is a rich honey amber color. Originally referred to as Ben’s Golden Riverside, the name was changed to Golden Rainbow to avoid confusing it with another variety called Golden Riverside from UCD. This is a common fig needing no wasp.

All my trees have come from well respected and trusted members of the fig community. 

This is a healthy looking plant, but I suspect that all my fig trees have been exposed to FMV.  If you are worried about fmv, I would recommend not bidding on my trees.  Not sure but better to be safe than sorry.   All of our trees are growing outside in hot, humid weather.  We get rain almost everyday and the temps are in the mid 80's.  Our trees may have rust, but that isn't anything to worry about and these small trees will quickly shed those leaves and put out new ones.  We try to give all our plants plenty of water before shipping so they can have plenty to hold them while in transit.  Please let them dry before watering again, or put them outside in the shade to help them get acclimated again to the weather.
