6 Sevillano Figs- Capri male with edible late summer crop.

Due to unforeseen circumstances relating to drought and water restrictions I need to downsize.

This is an offering for the lot of 6 trees that are VERY well rooted and 2 years old. Will be shipped bare root via priority mail on Monday only.

Here is what I do know about this variety.

This tree is a prolific mamme producer.

Produces medium sized rimada stripped breba crop with loads of pollen that visibly bursts out upon opening.   ( see picts )

Produces a late summer crop that is edible in our area. Not sure if this main crop requires the wasp to ripen outside of wasp-land. ( see picts of figlets currently growing on larger fig tree)

Found in a Sevillano olive orchard growing amongst the ancient olive trees in Northern California.  

This would be a perfect tree for those wishing to pollinate their figs or experiment with breeding. Can also be used for grafting common figs.
