Description
3 fresh cuttings of El Molino fig, 6" or longer, will be cut right before shipping.
The tree is growing in ground in California, very vigorous and productive.
The sweet berry flavor is as intense as Strawberry Verte and Mavra Sika if not more so, with an additional acid twang I haven't found in other figs yet this year. What made it especially good was a sweetness in the skin that contrasted with the strong berry and acid kick of the pulp.
May require pollination.
Can be grown in containers or ground, not a picky tree and easy on maintenance.
The photos are of the actual this year fruit from the mother tree.
Rooting of the cuttings is fairly easy, please search online for suggestions and visit the popular fig forums.
Note: The cuttings will be mailed in a plastic bag in an envelope dry. I will not wrap them in any moist media since this will damage the cuttings in case of a delivery delay.
This will not affect the rooting success.
