“Zaffiro” a excellent honey fig.

Zaffiro I have been growing for 3 years now in ground. It is an average to above average producer with a long season. It is still ripening heavily now and has been ripening figs since end of August. The figs have a blue to purple velvet skin and very soft. The interior ranges from golden to dark golden . It is a honey fig, very sweet and delicious. It is an Italian variety and does not require pollination. This variety seems to do best grafted as most fail at rooting the cuttings (especially me). This is on its own roots and well rooted. Grown outside not a houseplant
