You are bidding on a 1 gallon Majoam (also known as Little Miss Figgy) in dormancy.
The tree you see is the tree you will receive!
I do combine shipping if you win multiple bids IF you wait for an invoice BEFORE paying.
This tree was rooted last Spring and potted early Summer. The root system should be fully developed and ready for an up-pot come Spring this year.
The Majoam (also known under the name Little Miss Figgy) was discovered in 2010 as a mutant branch of the Violette de Bordeaux. The tree apparently grows in a dwarf like habit which makes it ideal for container growing. The mature leaves are reported to be blue-green while the fig is purple with a red flesh. This variety of tree has been a vigorous grower for me.
If you live in California and are interested in the tree, please message me.
KNOW YOUR SELLER - There are a lot of people selling fig tree and tree cuttings that are NOT what they represent. Sadly, you will not know until a year or 2 later where you will have no recourse. Simple searches on the internet of usernames can prevent this.
I am Nunuorig on online fig discussion forums.
All my trees are treated with Neem Oil, Sevin, and/or Malathion to prevent the cause and/or spread of FMV. However, I assume all my plants have been exposed to Fig Mosaic Virus (FMV).
I will ship on Monday after the auctions closes as long as payment is received.
