These cuttings are from the ORIGINAL mother tree.  I discovered this tree from a from a friend of a friend who found 3 of these trees on his property in Connecticut and invited me over to take a peak.  Please take a look at the videos for the full story.  My trees come from the mother tree!  Support my research and discoveries by purchasing from the source, and rest assured you will have the real fig tree backed by my 100% customer satisfaction!

This is the video from the Farmowner.

And this is the video from the owner: Origin Family Owner.

The fig is not over bearing with sweetness, and has a wonderful fig-cherry flavor just as the name suggests, with a hint of a deep complex fruit-like sweetness. The tree is also cold hardy, surviving in ground in zone 7, up here in CT. The current owner does not wrap these. I'm harvesting figs between 20 to 50 grams.

One thing amazing about figs brought over by generational immigrants to consider: they were leaving their mother land forever, sometimes forever.  They brought whatever they were able to schlep.  And yet, they did not forget to bring a fig tree.  I believe they must have such a unique story, history, and savory flavor to them they cannot buy here in the United States. Moreover, I would like to think it's their way of bringing some of their old home roots to their new start. I love collecting and sharing these family heirlooms as I believe there is nothing more authentic, and each one has their own story.

Payment is expected no later than 12 hours of invoice.  Payment is required to ship cuttings in a timely fashion.  Delay of payment may result in a delay of shipping.

KYS - Know Your Seller!  There are a lot of people selling fig trees and fig tree cuttings that are NOT what they represent.  Sadly, you will not know until a year or 2 later when there is little recourse.  Simple searches of usernames on the internet can prevent this.

I am The1FigMan on OurFigs.com discussion forum.

If you receive damaged cuttings due to shipping or are unhappy with the cuttings, PLEASE email me.  I believe CUSTOMER SATISFACTION is PARAMOUNT!  If there is any damage to the padded mailer upon receipt, please take a picture or two of the unopened mailer with the label and a picture or two of the cuttings so I may file a claim with the post office.

Sorry, no international shipping!
